Office for St. John of Rila (on Oct. 19th), with versified synaxarion and mention of the transferring of the saint's relics, beginning on leaf 2a. Leaf 33a (1a of the second sequence in original foliation), the Life of St. John of Rila by Euthymius of Turnovo, Patriarch of Bulgaria. Leaf 52a (20a of the second sequence in the original foliation), History of the reconstruction of Rila Monastery and the transferring of St. John's relics from Turnovo to Rila, authored by Vladislav Grammatik. Leaf IVa, frontispiece with signed scribal inscription (colophon) containing the date of copying, 7421 (i.e. 1769). Leaf IIIb, a minor later inscription in pencil. Ornamented headings and initials.
